Styles & Models Explained
The Style of insert (IP-1 or IP-2)
is determined by the the cover configuration.?
Style IP-1
inserts are for manhole covers with an essentially flat underside.?
Style IP-2 inserts are designed for deeper covers - so the C & D
Dimensions must be provided (see drawing).
The insert Model is determined by
the manhole frame diameter, which is Dimension A
(see drawing).
Please enter dimensions as decimals (i.e.,
22 1/2 would be entered as 22.5)
Style IP-1:Dimension B will be
smaller than Dimension A.
Style IP-2:Dimension B will be
smaller than Dimension A, Dimension C will
be smaller than Dimension B and Dimension D
cannot have a depth greater than 4 inches.
