Taps™ odor control manhole inserts

Here's How They Work:

A Taps™ Insert (shallow plastic basket about 4" deep) is hung from the manhole frame rim. It has holes in the bottom which are covered by a sturdy plastic screen. Taps™ Oxidizing Granules are poured on top of the screen. The system allows generous venting. H ₂S is chemically changed to a salt as it vents through the media bed.

Taps™ Inserts are made of tough, rigid ABS plastic, which will not corrode and requires no maintenance. They have two nylon lifting straps for easy removal.

Installation Is As Easy As...
 

1. Remove manhole cover and clean rim

2. Place insert on frame rim

3. Add granules and replace cover
